Der zweiteilige niederländische Elektrotriebzug Plan V – in den Niederlanden besser bekannt als Mat '64 oder unter dem Spitznamen Apekop (Affenkopf) – wurde ab Mitte der 1960er-Jahre einer der Standard-Nahverkehrszüge der Niederländischen Staatsbahn. Mit insgesamt 246 Exemplaren war er damals der meist gebaute Triebzug der NS. Ab der Serie V3 setzte sich auch beim Plan V das neue Farbschema der Niederländischen Staatsbahn durch: knallgelb mit grauen Details an der Front und drei blauen, diagonal verlaufenden Streifen an jeder Wagenseite. Bis zu ihrer Ausmusterung waren die Triebzüge auf so gut wie allen elektrifizierten Bahnstrecken der Niederlande eingesetzt.
